Leopards set a new club record victory for the second straight day as
Bedford Bulls were hammered at Wodson Park, on Sunday.

The Big Cats had been due to travel to RAF Lakenheath, but when that game was cancelled, EBL Division Three newcomers Bedford stepped in and were given a harsh lesson in the gulf between the divisions. Lithuanina trialist Tomas Kersis against led the hosts scoring with 20, and he was joined in double figures by five other Leopards as all 11 of the home players got on the scoresheet.

An even start saw the visitors take a brief lead at 5-4, but five straight points from Laurent Irish helped the Leopards go on a 12-0 run to take a
19-7 lead, and they never looked back. Three straight treys from Kersis helped to a total of 13 first period points, as Leopards ended the opening quarter 16 points ahead.

Roger Lloyd and Steve Ogunjimi got in on the act in the second period, scoring eight and seven points respectively, as coach Jon Burnell used his
full squad, and a late three from another trialist, Skye Buck, saw Leopards
go into the half-time break with a 58-21 lead.

There was no respite for the Bulls as the two trialists continued to shine in the third period, with Buck scoring nine and Kersis seven, and with Errol Seaman and Troy Selvey each scoring six, Leopards went into the final break with a massive 57 point lead.

Eight different home players scored during the final period, with Matt Eames (pictured) and Lloyd leading the way with six apiece to complete a comfortable win.
