Os signs – with help from DynamicPeople

Leopards have continued rebuilding their squad with addition of Osvaldas Gaizauskas.
The 6’7″ Lithuanian can play as a shooting guard or at both forward positions and received international clearance in time for Saturday’s trip to Hemel Storm.
The signing was made possible by the help of club sponsors DynamicPeople, and general manager Dave Ryan thanked them for their help: “We’d like to thank Charlyn and DynamicPeople for making it possible to sign Os” he said. The costs with registering non-British players and gaining international clearance are considerable, and we wouldn’t have been able to add to our squad without DynamicPeople’s help.”
The 28-year-old joins after three seasons with German Regionalliga side SB DJK Rosenheim where he averaged around nine points and 4.5 rebounds..
Gaizauskas spent a year at the Phelps High School before staying in the States where he spent four years at NCAA2 side Ohio Valley.
Leopards’ coach Thomas Baker is delighted with his fourth signing in the last fortnight: “As we continue to add reinforcements for us to finish the season it is great to add Os to the team” he said
“He comes with a wealth of basketball experience having played for years in Lithuania, Serbia and Germany. He adds additional size alongside the likes of Orlan [Jackman] and Ray [Okpofure] to help us with rebounding, and he gives us versatility with his ability to play on out on the perimeter too.”
The newest Leopard is looking forward to getting on the court with the Big Cats: ““A lot of talent on this team. It’s a pleasure to join this club and finish the season with these guys. I look forward to stepping out on court with my new teammates!”
