Some of you may remember about 14 months ago a former junior Ware Rebel and West Herts Warrior player Frank Empson was tragically murdered in a knife attack. To remember Frank former teammates and friends from the area put on a 4-team tournament. It was a great success and raised alot of money for the 'franks last wish fund'

This Easter Sunday, April 8th the 2nd Frank Empson Memorial Tournament will take place at Wodson Park Sports Centre, Ware.

There will be 60 players from junior, local and national league teams split into 6 teams to play for the Memorial Trophy over the course of the day. First game will tip-off at 12 with the presentation of championship trophy around 4.30pm. Leopards EBL players Sammy Salter, Errol Seaman will be playing as well as your last chance to see Leopards player Joe Ikinmwin play in competitive games before heading off to the States in the summer. Other players include Joe Perera and Stanley Burrison from West Herts Warriors and members of Founders Cup Finalists Harlow Hawks will take part and many local legends and up and coming juniors
