Five Leopards' juniors were in the U17 East England squad that played in the regional tournament at Jesse Boots, Nottingham on Sunday - including three in the starting five: Ben Warden, Adam Edwards and Michael Jarvis. The other Leopards were Russell Stonehouse and Luke Cahill playing in a team coached by Darren Johnson. East England won their first game by 3 points even though they were down by 15 at half time, beating West Midlands who had already beaten East Midlands. East England then played East Midlands and it looked good at half time as they opened up a 13 point lead, but playing two games back-to-back took it’s toll and they ran out of steam and ended the game losing by 10 points. |
