Leopards start on the road

Leopards will have a tough start to their Division One season as they open with four straight away games.
The fire at Oaklands College means that the Big Cats will not make their Division One debut at the Herts venue until November, with details to be confirmed.
However Thomas Baker’s side will play at their other home venue, the Brentwood Centre, on Sunday October 27 when old rivals Hemel Storm are the visitors, tip-off 4pm. Storm are now coached by former Leopards’ assistant Rikki Broadmore and have already signed former Big Cats Lee Hodges, Sam Newman and Bode Adeluola. The sides were involved in two one-point thrillers last season, with each team coming out on top once.
Before then, Leopards open their league season with a trip to Solent Kestrels on Saturday September 28 before travelling to National Cup winners Loughborough Riders the following Saturday.
That is followed up by visits to Bradford Dragons on Saturday October 12 and Westminster Warriors on Saturday October 19th.
Full fixture list to follow.
