The Big Cats will face Westminster Warriors who were relegation alongside them last season, with the sides meeting at Capital City Academy on Saturday October 7.
The sides met three times last season with all the games proving to be away wins as Leopards took the series 2-1, but it was the February defeat against a previously winless Westminster side that prompted the resignation of coach Steve Ogunjimi.
The Division Two fixtures aren’t finalised yet, but Thomas Baker’s team face eight clubs they have never played before, the other exceptions being former Division One rivals Derbyshire Arrows and London Westside who they have previously played in the National Cup.
The first league action of the season comes at the Brentwood Centre on Sunday September 22 when Westside are the visitors, while the following Saturday the Big Cats travel to Sussex Bears.
Before the league starts Leopards have five home games, hosting Team USA Select at Oaklands College on Friday September 1 and also at the Brentwood Centre on Sunday September 3 before Reading Rockets are the visitors to Brentwood on Saturday September 9.
They start their competitive season on Sunday September 17 when Nottingham Hoods arrive at the Brentwood Centre for a Patrons Cup game and they are also at home on Sunday October 1 against either Anglia Ruskin or Essex Blades in the National Cup.
