Leopards look to quieten Thunder

Leopards will look to collect their first Division One win of the season when they travel to Worthing Thunder, on Saturday.
Saturday’s trip to Thunder should provide one of the Big Cats’ toughest games of the season with the south coast club having an experienced back court of Zaire Taylor and Alex Owumni who have both played all over the world. Owumni is the author of the best-selling book Quaddafi’s point guard which tells his story when he was playing in Libya and became trapped during the country’s civil war.
Thunder are third in the Division One table with a 5-1 record and have reached the National Cup quarter-final and the last four of the National Trophy.
The sides last met in the 2016/17 season with Leopards completing their only double of their relegation campaign, winning 86-71 at the Brentwood Centre before coming out on top 113-110 in a double overtime thriller in their final league game of the season.
