Hood you believe it?

Levett Leopards will make their Patron’s Cup debut on Sunday September 17th when Nottingham Hoods are the visitors to the Brentwood Centre, tip-off 4pm.
The Patron’s Cup is the league cup competition for National Basketball League Division Two teams, with the 12 teams divided into pools of three, with the top side progressing to the semi-final.
it will be the first time that the Big Cats have faced the Hoods, who finished sixth in Division Two last season with a 10-12 record.
The other team in the group is Ipswich, and Leopards will travel to Suffolk on Saturday 23rd, with Hoods and Ipswich meeting the following weekend.
It will be Leopards’ first meeting with Ipswich after they conceded last season’s National Cup tie at Harlow.
Coach Thomas Baker is looking forward to the challenge the Patron’s Cup will bring: “It is exciting that the season is fast approaching. Hosting the Wildcats in the Patrons cup is a great way to get our season started as well as a trip to Ipswich the following week. To face quality opposition so early on will provide us with the opportunity to see where we are at. We must make sure we hit the ground running.
