Hafeez looks for first league win

As Leopards prepare for Saturday’s trip to Thames Valley Cavaliers,’ forward Hafeez Abdul believes that his side are on the verge of their first league win of the season.
“We are now competing with the best and most talented teams in the league proving we belong now, we need to get over the last hurdle and correct minor details to be the team that we know we are. Which is a team that can win against anybody as long as we play our style”
The Big Cats will face a Cavaliers side who won four of their first five league games before going down 113-103 at home against Hemel Storm before suffering a shock 93-91 National Cup defeat at second division Essex Rebels.
Leopards’ coach Thomas Baker will be looking for Abdul to continue his fine form of last weekend which saw him score 30 points in the 102-84 loss against Worthing Thunder at Oaklands followed by 43 points in the 108-74 National Cup hammering of London Greenhouse Pioneers at Harlow.
