Duru looks for perfect performance

Leopards’ captain Chuck Duru is looking for a perfect performance as the Big Cats face a massive weekend.
Thomas Baker’s side travel to Barking Abbey on Saturday before hosting Solent Kestrels at the Brentwood Centre on Sunday (4pm).
“This weekend Barking and Solent pose two different challenges” said Duru. “Barking are in a similar position to us in the league so we will need to win the game to improve our chances of avoiding relegation.
“Sundays game against Solent will be tough – we face a red hot team, yet to drop a game this season. We will need to be close to perfect if we are going to give ourselves a chance to win but we hope the crowd at Brentwood will give us the boost we need!”
Leopards are expecting a big crowd for the visit of Division One champions Solent as they look to achieve what no other club has done this season – beat a Kestrels side who have won their first 13 league games as well as reaching the National Cup final.
Tickets for the Big Cats’ first home game of the decade can be booked through this website.
The game is sponsored by Friends of the Leopards, while the ball is sponsored by a pair of Little Cats Lia and Phoenix Dicker and we thank them for their continued support
