Baker: “There’s a buzz around Leopards”

Leopards’ coach Thomas Baker is upbeat as his side prepare to make the short trip to Hemel Storm, on Saturday.
The Big Cats will go into the game against their near-neighbours as underdogs, but with Baker having overhauled his side in recent weeks, he believes that his side can rip up the formbook.
“With the recent additions to our team, it is going to be a great test for us to see how far we have come” said Baker. “Our primary focus is to avoid relegation, however with these additions and taking things one game at a time then who knows where we can climb to when we strings some wins together.
“There is a buzz around practice now and with the result a couple of weeks ago against Warriors, we know we have the capability to improve our league position. We still have to tighten up on certain areas but we are confident the style of basketball we play will help us in these last nine games of the season.
“We know it is going to be packed in Hemel Leisure Centre at the weekend, therefore we must commit to our decisions throughout the game and be willing to stay together and be composed to ensure the game ends up in our favour.”
