Baker looks for continued improvement

Leopards’ coach Thomas Baker is hoping his side can build on two encouraging performances as his side look to record their first ever win against Thames Valley Cavaliers.
“Coming off the back of two positive performances last weekend I am looking forward to see us continue that in this one” said Baker.
“We have done some work this week in practice to build on what we were successful in against Worthing and Greenhouse and we are excited to continue this journey.”
Despite Cavs suffering their second league defeat of the season last week and then going down to a shock National Cup loss at Essex Rebels, Baker is expecting a tough game at Uxbridge College: “Thames Valley are coming off the back of two defeats last weekend but we can not underestimate them, we must be ready for a physical matchup and be ready to commit to our style consistently across the game” he said
Leopards are 0-6 against the well-funded Cavs. They lost both Division Two games against them in 2017/18 as well as going down to a heavy National Cup defeat at Harlow Leisurezone. The Big Cats also lost a high-scoring National Trophy (RIP) game to open last season before going down 97-80 at Uxbridge and 90-85 in a cracker at the Brentwood Centre.
