Baker frustrated after loss

Leopards’ coach Thomas Baker couldn’t hide his disappointment at his side’s 88-73 home loss against Derby Trailblazers, on Saturday.
“I’m very frustrated with this one” he said. “After a bright start where recent adjustments we have made were coming of fruition, we lacked any sense of competitiveness in the second quarter and gave up basket after basket.
“I take responsibility for our lack of conviction in the second quarter, my assistant were giving me some key information and I didn’t make adjustments quick enough, then when we did change it, the momentum had swung to Derby. I must be better for my players!”
The Big Cats return to action on Sunday when they travel to sixth placed Reading Rockets.
